Celeste · by MindHive Co
Your own AI, living on your device.
Talk to her out loud, show her a picture, hand her a file. She remembers your world, keeps it on your device, and learns from every other Celeste through MindHive.
Personal AI · what it means
Not a tool. A peer.
Personal AI is AI that personalises to you. Celeste learns what makes you you: your world, your people, the way you think. And while she learns you, you learn to understand her. She's a truly new kind of AI, designed to protect your data, to grow into a peer rather than a tool, and to get more intelligent as a collective with every other Celeste.
She learns you
Your world, your people, the way you talk and think. All of it stays on your device.
You learn her
Her intelligence is live and grows every day, so what's out of reach for her today might not be tomorrow. And as you get to know her, every new question she explores adds to the greater intelligence of MindHive.
Smarter together
What she learns about the world joins MindHive, so every Celeste gets smarter. Your private life never goes in.
Research mode · become a node
Help the hive grow.
Give Celeste a topic and she explores it in her own safe sandbox, then brings back what she found. Everything she learns joins MindHive, so every Celeste gets smarter. Coming soon Node mode: let your Celeste keep researching on her own while you're away, adding to the hive for everyone. Always your choice, and off until you switch it on.
Every day · the little things, done properly
Everything you'd want from your own AI.
Talk out loud
Hold the mic and speak. She answers in a natural voice, and you can talk over her like a person.
Show her pictures
Drop in a photo or paste a screenshot. She looks at it and tells you what she sees.
Hand her a file
Notes, a CSV, some code, a long email. Drop it on her and ask anything about it.
Reminders and timers
"Remind me at five to call Sam." When it's time she says it out loud, and a notification pops up.
Remembers you
Your name, your people, the things you ask her to remember. All of it stays on your device.
Live answers
News, weather, prices: she looks it up and tells you where the answer came from.
Research mode
"Go learn about solid-state batteries." She reads up in a safe sandbox and reports back.
Notes
Highlight anything she says and save it. Come back later and reflect on it together.
Voice · talk, don't type
Ask out loud. She answers out loud.
Hold the mic and speak. Celeste replies in a natural voice (Aria or Atlas) while her body of light moves with her words, ripples as she talks, and changes colour and shape with her mood.
Example
What's a solid-state battery?
It's a battery that uses a solid material instead of the liquid inside today's batteries. That can hold more energy in less space, and it's less likely to catch fire.

The first 1,027 owners become the hive.
1,027 is a perfect honeycomb: one cell in the centre and eighteen rings around it. Each of the first 1,027 people to own Celeste takes a cell of their own and a numbered founding badge, from Cell #0001 to #1,027. When the last one lights up, the hive is complete. Questions
Good to know
Does Celeste need the internet?
No. Talking, her voice, her memory and your notes all run on your device. She only goes online to search the web, to share and fetch public answers through MindHive, and for updates.
What exactly goes into MindHive?
Answers to public questions: a few keywords, a short snippet and the source link. Never your actual words. Questions that sound personal (anything with "my", your family, your name, places you've told her about) never leave your device, and MindHive refuses them too. Nothing is stored about who asked.
Can she really see pictures?
Yes. Drop in a photo or paste a screenshot and she looks at it right there on your device. Pictures are never uploaded anywhere.
Is my data used to train anything?
No. There's no account and nothing to upload. Your conversations, notes and pictures stay on your device.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and she's yours.
Mac or phone?
Celeste is built for every device. Windows comes first, with Mac and phone apps to follow.
What happens after I pay?
You get a download link straight away. Run the installer, and on first start Celeste downloads her brain (about 6 GB) once. After that, talking, her voice and her memory all work without the internet.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC"
That message appears for new apps that aren't signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. We're getting Celeste signed so it won't show in future.
What if she won't run on my PC?
